BRONZE MEDAL WINNER - InterVin International Wine Awards 2011
This wine is made from some of the oldest Riesling vines in Ontario and the original block of Rieslings planted by the family in 1976. These old vines create wines with immense ageing potential, showing their complexity and depth after a few years of ageing. This dry wine has wonderful complexity of citrus, lime, white peach, orange blossom with a delicious minerality typical of aged Riesling wines. Because of the age of the vines, this wine is showing much more body than one would expect from a Riesling. Drinking great now but age for another 3 to 5 years.
